Size

A natural, long-lasting chew made from 100% buffalo horn — a single ingredient with nothing added. The tough horn gives keen chewers a satisfying, occupying gnaw, and lasts well. Feeding & safety

This is a very hard chew. Always supervise your dog, keep fresh water available, and feed as a treat alongside a balanced diet, not as a meal. As with any hard chew there's a risk of tooth damage for dogs that bite down extremely hard or try to crack it rather than gnaw it — it suits measured chewers rather than aggressive gulpers. Horn can wear or crack into harder edges over time, so check it as your dog chews and take it away once it wears down to a piece small enough to swallow, or if it becomes sharp. Choose a size too big to be swallowed whole, and pick a softer chew if your dog has dental problems. If in any doubt, ask your vet.

From the Anco natural range, stocked at Hairy Dogs. See also our Mega Buffalo Sticks and Buffalo Skin Roll.

Common questions

What sizes are there?
Small, Medium and Large — pick a size too big for your dog to swallow whole.
Can I stuff it?
Yes — the hollow horn can be filled with a little pate or paste to make it last longer and keep things interesting. Always supervise.
Is a hard chew safe for my dog's teeth?
Horn is hard, so there's always some tooth-fracture risk with very hard chewers. It suits dogs that gnaw steadily rather than crack things — if your dog is a power-chewer or has had dental trouble, pick something softer or check with your vet.
What's in it?
Just one thing — 100% buffalo horn.
What age can have it?
Suitable from 8 weeks, fed as a supervised treat.
