Ostrich Runners

Ostrich Runners are a tough, long-lasting single-ingredient chew made from 100% ostrich. Naturally lean and a novel protein, they suit dogs who like something to gnaw on that lasts a little longer.

Composition

100% ostrich. Analytical constituents: crude protein 30%, crude fat 1.3%, crude ash 64%. The high ash figure reflects the natural mineral content (calcium and phosphorus) of bone, not an additive.

Feeding & safety

Suitable from 12 weeks. Feed as a treat as part of a balanced diet, and adjust main meals if you feed chews regularly. Fresh water should always be available.

Bone safety: like all natural chews containing bone, these can splinter as they’re worked down. Always supervise your dog, and remove and replace the chew once it becomes small enough to swallow or the ends sharpen. Not suitable for dogs that bite excessively hard or have dental problems — if in doubt, choose a softer chew or ask your vet.
