A tasty, plant-based peanut butter for dogs, made in North Wales. Squeeze it onto a lick mat, stuff a toy or spread a little over food — the slow licking gives dogs a calm, settling activity, which makes it a handy bit of enrichment during grooming, downtime or quieter moments. Vegan, gluten-free and, importantly for peanut butter, xylitol-free.

  • Naturally settling enrichment — licking is a self-soothing activity for dogs; great for downtime, grooming or as a calm distraction.
  • Xylitol-free — made without xylitol, which is toxic to dogs (always check any peanut butter is xylitol-free before sharing).
  • Vegan & plant-based — no animal products.
  • Gluten-free, no palm oil, no added sugar and no artificial additives.
  • Mess-free pouch — easy to squeeze onto lick mats, toys or food, at home or on walks.
  • Made in the UK — produced in North Wales.

How to use

Squeeze onto a lick mat or into a stuffable toy, spread over a small amount of food, or offer as a reward. A little goes a long way — feed as a treat alongside a balanced diet, not as a meal.

Allergens & safety

Contains peanut. Not suitable for dogs with a peanut allergy. For canine use only — always supervise your dog while they enjoy it, and keep fresh water available. Store in a cool, dry place.

From the Meaty Licks range, stocked at Hairy Dogs.

Common questions

Is it really “calming”?
The calm comes from the activity rather than any medicine — slow licking is naturally soothing and self-settling for dogs, so it's a lovely way to help them wind down during grooming, downtime or busier moments. It isn't a treatment for anxiety; if your dog genuinely struggles with anxiety, please speak to your vet.
Is it safe — what about xylitol?
Yes — it's made without xylitol, which is toxic to dogs. It's always worth checking that any peanut butter is xylitol-free before sharing it with your dog.
How do I use it?
Squeeze it onto a lick mat or into a stuffable toy, spread a little over food, or offer it as a reward. A little goes a long way.
My dog has allergies — is it suitable?
It's vegan, gluten-free and free from animal proteins, which suits many sensitivities — but it does contain peanut, so it isn't suitable for dogs with a peanut allergy.
