Size

Chicken Necks are a 100% natural, single-ingredient chew made from whole air-dried chicken neck — bone and all. A crunchy, instinctive chew that's naturally high in protein, with soft edible bone. Grain free. Buy individually or as a 250g bag.

  • 100% chicken, single ingredient — air-dried with no additives or preservatives; grain and gluten free.
  • Naturally high in protein — around 55% protein in a meaty, satisfying natural chew.
  • Soft edible bone — air-dried rather than cooked, so the bone stays soft enough to chew and digest, and naturally contains calcium and phosphorus.
  • Light and bite-sized — a smaller chew that suits puppies from 12 weeks, small breeds, and quick rewards.
  • Helps with chewing — the natural chewing action can help reduce surface plaque as part of a wider dental routine (not a replacement for brushing or veterinary care).

Composition

100% Chicken. Analytical constituents (per 100g): Protein 54.8%, Fat 16.1%, Ash 19.0%, Crude Fibre 4.8%.

Feeding & safety

A complementary treat, fed alongside a complete, balanced diet. Always supervise your dog while chewing and make sure fresh water is available. These are air-dried and never cooked — never feed cooked poultry bones, which can splinter.

  • Small dogs (up to 10kg): 1–2 per day
  • Medium dogs (10–25kg): 2–3 per day
  • Large dogs (25kg+): 3–4 per day

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and reseal the bag after opening.

A complementary food for dogs — feed under supervision and always allow access to fresh water. After a different single protein? See our Duck Necks.

Common questions

Can my dog eat the bone?
Yes — chicken necks are air-dried, not cooked, so the bone stays soft and edible and is part of the chew. This is very different from cooked chicken bones, which become brittle and can splinter — never feed those. As with any chew, always supervise your dog.
Are they high in fat?
No — they're moderate at around 16% fat, and high in protein (about 55%). They're still a treat, so feed them alongside a balanced diet, but they're leaner than many rich natural chews.
My dog is sensitive to chicken — are these suitable?
No — chicken is one of the more common protein sensitivities in dogs, so these aren't the right choice for a chicken-sensitive dog. For those dogs, a single novel protein such as our Duck Necks or Rabbit Ears is a better fit.
Are they suitable for puppies?
Suitable from 12 weeks. The smaller size makes them easy to manage as a gentle reward — always supervise, introduce gradually, and keep fresh water available.
