When the temperature climbs, the Ice Paws Cooling Mat gives your dog a cool, comfortable place to settle — no freezer, no power and no water needed. A pressure-activated gel core draws heat away the moment your dog lies down, lowering their body temperature by up to 7°C for several hours at a time. Ideal for hot afternoons at home, in the crate, in the car or out in the garden.
Available in two sizes — Small (45 × 60cm) and Large (60 × 90cm).
- Cools for hours: Lowers your dog's temperature by up to 7°C and stays cool for several hours before it needs to recharge.
- No freezing or electricity: The gel recharges on its own in a cool, shaded spot — just lift it off for a while and it's ready again.
- Waterproof & wipe-clean: A durable, water-resistant surface wipes clean in seconds after muddy paws or spills.
- Use it anywhere: Lay it on the floor, inside a bed, in a crate or across a car seat.
- Eco-conscious packaging: Supplied in recycled and recyclable packaging.

How it works
The mat is filled with a Phase Change Material (PCM) cooling gel. Unlike a water mat, it reacts to your dog's body heat and weight, absorbing warmth to give a steady cooling effect. Once your dog moves off, it recharges at cool-room temperature, ready for next time — no freezing or electricity required.
Materials and care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth; do not machine wash or tumble dry. Store flat in a cool place out of direct sunlight. The mat is made for resting on, not chewing — supervise your dog and discontinue use if the cover becomes punctured, scratched or damaged.
Part of the Ice Paws warm-weather range, stocked at Hairy Dogs.
