Keep your dog settled and out of the way on car journeys. The Paws on Tour ISOFIX Dog Car Seatbelt is a 60cm adjustable tether that clips into your car's ISOFIX anchor point at one end and onto your dog's harness at the other — so they can sit or lie down comfortably but can't roam around the car, climb into the footwell or distract you at the wheel. It's the tether only; use it with your dog's own well-fitted harness.
- Clips to your car's ISOFIX anchor — a secure, stable fixing point on the rear seats of most modern cars.
- Attaches to a harness, never a collar — clipping a tether to a collar risks neck injury if your dog moves suddenly.
- 60cm adjustable length — enough room to settle, without letting them reach the windows or driver.
- Light and portable — easy to move between cars or pack for dog-friendly trips.
Helps you travel within the rules
The Highway Code (Rule 57) says dogs must be suitably restrained in a vehicle so they can't distract the driver or be injured if you stop suddenly, and it lists a seat-belt harness as one of the accepted methods. This tether is a simple way to help meet that.
Safety & use
- Always use with a correctly fitted harness — never clip it to a collar.
- Check your vehicle handbook to confirm the ISOFIX anchor point, and make sure the tether is properly engaged before each drive.
- Adjust the length so your dog can sit and lie down but can't reach the driver, windows or footwell.
- This is a travel restraint to keep your dog secured and reduce driver distraction — it is not a crash-tested safety device and isn't a substitute for a crash-tested travel crate.
- Inspect the webbing, stitching and clips before each journey and replace if worn or damaged. Never leave your dog unattended in a vehicle.
A simple, everyday way to keep your dog secured and let you focus on the road.
