The Ancol Stormguard Soft Shell dog coat is a lightweight, water-resistant softshell layer for cooler, wetter walks. A protective chest panel helps keep your dog clean and dry, reflective edging adds visibility in low light, and a zippered slot lets a harness lead pass through so you can clip on without removing the coat. Available in two colours and sizes XS to XXL.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your dog's back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, and the chest girth around the widest part behind the front legs. Compare both to the size guide above and, if your dog falls between sizes, size up.

Is it fully waterproof?

It is a water-resistant softshell — it sheds showers and wind well on milder days and is lighter than a padded coat. For heavy, cold rain where you want full waterproofing and warmth, the fleece-lined Ancol Stormguard All-Weather coat is the warmer option.

Can I use it with a harness?

Yes — a zippered slot on the back lets you feed a harness lead through and clip on without taking the coat off.

How do I wash it?

Machine washable at 30°C. Do not tumble dry — hang or lay flat to air dry to protect the reflective edging and the water-resistant finish.
