The Bailey and Coco Trail & Glow is a no-pull dog harness designed for comfortable, controlled walking in any light. Reflective detailing keeps your dog visible on dark-morning and evening walks, a padded chest panel spreads pressure away from the throat, and both a front and back D-ring give you a no-pull attachment point as well as a standard one. Available in seven designs to coordinate with the matching collar, lead and accessories.

Available in seven designs — Jet Black, Ink Blue, Forest Tweed, Oxford Tweed, Mulberry Tweed, Bubblegum Pink and the seasonal Spring Dreams floral — in sizes XS to XL. See the design collections below to shop the full coordinated set.

  • No-pull front D-ring: A front attachment point gently redirects a dog that pulls; the back D-ring suits relaxed walkers and everyday use.
  • Reflective detailing: Reflective trim catches headlights and torchlight, keeping your dog visible on early-morning and evening walks.
  • Padded and adjustable: A padded chest panel spreads pressure comfortably, and adjustable straps give a secure fit across the size range.
  • Handle on the back: A webbing handle over the shoulders gives you a quick hold at kerbsides, on stiles and when passing other dogs.
  • Easy to fit: A lockable clasp at the neck opens fully, so the harness does not need to go over your dog's head — quick on, quick off.
  • Coordinated designs: The tweed designs (Forest, Oxford, Mulberry, Bubblegum Pink) and plain designs (Jet Black, Ink Blue) match the rest of their collection; Spring Dreams is a seasonal floral.

Size guide

Every strap on the Trail & Glow adjusts, so chest girth is the measurement that decides the size. Measure around the widest part of your dog's chest, just behind the front legs, and around the base of the neck where a collar sits. Keep two fingers' width between the tape and your dog.

Size Neck Chest Back length Typical breeds
XS 26–34 cm 26–40 cm 18 cm Toy breeds — Chihuahua, Toy Poodle
S 30–45 cm 35–66 cm 21 cm Small breeds — Miniature Schnauzer, small Terrier
M 35–50 cm 40–71 cm 25 cm Medium breeds — Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie
L 40–60 cm 55–83 cm 29 cm Larger breeds — Labrador, Golden Retriever
XL 55–83 cm 71–99 cm 31 cm Large breeds — larger Labradors, Ridgebacks, big crossbreeds

Back length is the length of the harness body panel along your dog's back — a fixed product dimension, not a measurement to take on your dog. Manufacturer's figures.

Between two sizes? Size up. The ranges overlap deliberately because every strap adjusts — but a dog sitting right at the top of a range will be on the last hole of the adjustment, with no room to let out. Breed names are a rough guide only; always measure.

The Spring Dreams floral runs S to XL.

Materials and care

The tweed designs are a wool mix; Jet Black and Ink Blue are woven webbing; Spring Dreams is a printed fabric. Reflective trim, padded chest panel, adjustable straps and buckle hardware. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow to air dry. Do not machine wash.

Common questions

How do I measure for the right size?
Use a soft tape. Chest: around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Neck: around the base of the neck, where a collar sits. Keep two fingers' width between the tape and your dog. Match the chest measurement to the size table above first — chest girth is what decides the fit — then use neck as a cross-check. If your dog falls between two sizes, size up.
My dog's measurements fall in two sizes — which do I pick?
The chest ranges overlap because the straps adjust across a wide span, so several sizes will physically fit a lot of dogs. Choose the size where your dog sits comfortably within the range rather than right at the very top of it — that leaves room to let the straps out for a winter coat, a growing puppy or a thicker-coated dog. If in doubt, size up.
Does it go over my dog's head?
No — there is a lockable clasp at the neck, so the harness opens out and does not need to be pulled over the head. Useful for dogs who dislike having things put on over their face.
How does the no-pull work?
Clip the lead to the front D-ring on the chest. When your dog pulls, the front attachment turns them gently back towards you rather than letting them drive forward — discouraging pulling without pressure on the throat. For relaxed walkers, use the back D-ring as a normal harness.
Is the Spring Dreams design always in stock?
Spring Dreams is a seasonal floral, so availability varies through the year and across sizes (it runs S to XL). The other six designs are core, year-round colourways.
Does it match the rest of the collection?
Yes — each design coordinates with the matching collar, lead, poo bag holder and (for most) bow tie. Use the design collection links above to see the full set.
How do I clean it?
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow to air dry. For a deeper clean, use a mild soapy cloth. Do not machine wash — the padding, reflective trim and (on tweed designs) wool-mix fabric are not designed for it.
