Say goodbye to plaque and hello to fresher breath. Bugalugs Advanced Enzymatic Toothpaste is made to support excellent oral hygiene in dogs and cats, using natural ingredients and active enzymes — Protease and Glucose Oxidase — that help break down plaque and tartar as you brush.

With an irresistible liver flavour, even fussy pets look forward to their daily brush. There are no foaming agents and it's safe to swallow, so there's no rinsing needed — just brush and you're done.

  • Dual-enzyme action — Protease and Glucose Oxidase help break down plaque and tartar.
  • Freshens breath — supports cleaner teeth and fresher breath with daily use.
  • Liver flavour pets love — makes brushing easier, even for fussy dogs and cats.
  • No foaming, safe to swallow — no rinsing required after brushing.
  • Gentle, natural formula — suitable for dogs and cats from 12 weeks.

How to use

Apply a small amount to a pet toothbrush — the Bugalugs Silicone Finger Brush is ideal — and gently brush both sides of the mouth in circular motions. Brush once daily for best results, and avoid food or water for 30 minutes before and after. New to brushing? The Bugalugs Dental Kit has everything to get started.

Common questions

How is it different from human toothpaste?
It's made specifically for pets — no foaming agents and safe to swallow, so there's no rinsing. Never use human toothpaste, which isn't safe for dogs or cats.
How often should I use it?
Once daily gives the best results, but any regular brushing helps support oral hygiene.
What does enzymatic mean?
It contains active enzymes (Protease and Glucose Oxidase) that help break down plaque and tartar as you brush, alongside the gentle cleaning action.
Will my fussy pet take to it?
The liver flavour is designed to be tasty, so most dogs and cats accept it readily — let them lick a little off your finger first to introduce it.
