Suitable for dogs of all breeds from 12 weeks. Feed as a complementary treat as part of a balanced diet, adjusting main meals to allow for treats. These are a rich, high-fat treat, so feed sparingly rather than by the handful. Always keep fresh water available, and supervise your dog while treating.

Can dogs eat coconut?
Yes — coconut flesh and coconut oil are not toxic to dogs and are widely used in natural dog treats. The thing to be aware of is that coconut is naturally high in fat, which is why these macaroons come in at 50.7% fat and are best treated as an occasional reward rather than an everyday handful. If your dog is on a vet-prescribed diet, check with your vet first.
How do these compare to the rest of the Life of Riley range?
Most of the Life of Riley range — Peanut Butter Bones, Mini Gingerbread Men, Beetroot Biscuits — is built on a gram flour base and comes out dry and crunchy, at around 11% fat. The Coconut Macaroons are the outlier: coconut-led rather than gram flour, chewy rather than crunchy, and much richer. Suitable for puppies?
