Horace Hedgehog is a compact eco leather dog toy from Miro & Makauri — hedgehog-shaped, made from genuine leather with natural coconut-fibre filling, and coloured using vegetable dyes. At 20cm it's the most compact toy in the Miro & Makauri range and suits smaller dogs, puppies, or dogs that prefer to carry, shake, and toss a toy rather than engage in extended tug play. The same natural materials and no-squeaker approach as Scottie Squid and Kelvin Koala — just in a smaller, rounder format.

  • Genuine leather outer: Durable natural material that holds up to carrying, shaking, and moderate tugging without deteriorating the way synthetic fabrics do. The texture and natural scent of leather keeps dogs engaged over time in a way that plastic or polyester toys don't replicate.
  • 100% natural coconut-fibre filling: Plant-based filling rather than synthetic wadding. Non-toxic if ingested in small amounts during normal play. When the toy eventually gets opened, what comes out is natural material — not polyester stuffing.
