Filling

A long-lasting natural chew with a tasty twist — the Anco Filled Cow Hoof is a sturdy keratin cow hoof with a soft, savoury filling in the hollow centre. The crunchy hoof keeps determined chewers busy, while the filling makes it extra enticing. Choose your filling from the dropdown.

  • Two fillings — Meat (beef & sheep fat) or Sheep Fat.
  • Long-lasting — the keratin hoof grinds down slowly as your dog chews, rather than splintering like cooked bone.
  • Refillable — once the filling's gone, pop in a little Anco Pâté or dog-safe peanut butter (xylitol-free) to keep it going.
  • Natural chew — the chewing action helps keep teeth clean.
  • Grain-free & chicken-free.

Feeding & safety

Complementary pet food for dogs — feed as a treat or reward as part of a nutritionally balanced diet. Suitable for puppies from 8 weeks. This is a firm chew: always supervise your dog, keep fresh water available, and remove and replace any piece small enough to be swallowed. Not suitable for dogs that bite very hard or have existing dental problems.

Common questions

What's the difference between the fillings?
The Meat hoof is filled with beef and sheep fat; the Sheep Fat hoof is filled with 100% sheep fat. Both use the same long-lasting keratin cow hoof.
Can I refill it?
Yes — once the filling's eaten, refill with Anco Pâté or xylitol-free dog peanut butter to extend the fun.
Is it suitable for puppies?
Suitable from 8 weeks, but always supervise and pick a chew suited to your dog's size and chewing style.
Is it safe?
It's a firm natural chew. Supervise your dog, offer fresh water, and take it away once it's small enough to swallow. Not recommended for very aggressive chewers or dogs with dental issues.
