Be seen on the dark walk. The Ancol Soft Blinker is a small, bright clip-on LED that wraps around your dog's collar, lead or harness — or your own bag or jacket — for instant visibility. Soft, waterproof silicone with a replaceable battery, in green, orange or pink.

Good to know

For pet use only — a safety accessory, not a toy or chew. Fit it so your dog can't chew or remove it, and take it off after your walk. It's powered by a CR2032 button-cell battery: keep spare and used batteries well away from children and pets — a swallowed button cell is extremely dangerous and needs immediate medical attention.

Changing the battery

There's a small round rubber cover on one side — this is the battery compartment. Ease the rubber piece out and you can remove and replace the CR2032 cell.

Common questions

How does it attach?
The soft silicone body loops around a collar, lead or harness strap and stays put, so it won't slip off mid-walk. It works just as well on a bag strap or your own jacket.
How long does the battery last, and can I replace it?
Around 80 hours on a flashing mode or 50 hours on steady per CR2032 battery. Unlike some sealed lights, the battery is replaceable — ease out the rubber cover on the side to swap it.
Is it waterproof?
The silicone body is water-resistant, so it's fine in rain and damp conditions on a normal walk. It isn't designed for full submersion.
What light modes does it have?
Three: two flashing speeds and one steady glow. Choose whichever is easiest to keep track of on your walk.
How is it different from the Wrap-Around Blinker?
The Soft Blinker uses a replaceable CR2032 battery, so you top it up rather than replacing the whole light. The Miro & Makauri Wrap-Around has a built-in battery and comes in six colours. Same job — pick on battery preference and colour.
