Composition

Lamb 100% (air-dried, fur-on).

Analytical constituents

Protein 74.2%, fat content 9.2%, crude ash 7.8%, moisture 4.0%, crude fibre 0.0%.

Feeding & safety

A complementary treat — feed alongside a balanced diet, not as a meal. As a guide: small dogs (up to 10kg) one ear a day, medium dogs (10–25kg) one to two, large dogs (25kg+) two to three. Chewing on a natural chew can help with surface plaque, but it isn't a substitute for toothbrushing or veterinary dental care. Always supervise your dog, remove any small final piece, and keep fresh water available.

Part of the Hairy Dogs range of natural lamb chews.

Common questions

What are they made from?
100% air-dried lamb ears with the fur left on. A single ingredient, with no additives, preservatives, bleaching or chemicals.
Why is the fur left on?
The fur is left on naturally and adds texture and roughage to the chew. It's a traditional style of natural chew many owners like — but it isn't a wormer or a medicine.
Are they suitable for sensitive dogs?
They're single-ingredient lamb and grain-free, which makes them a useful option for dogs sensitive to cow or pig ears, or to other common meats. Introduce any new treat gradually.
How long do they last?
Lamb ears are a moderately long-lasting chew. Supervise your dog, and take away any small final piece they could swallow whole.
