K2 Yak Chews are a traditional Himalayan-style chew made from yak and cow milk, slowly dried into a hard, long-lasting bar. They soften gradually as your dog works at them, making a satisfying, keep-them-busy chew. Choose Natural, or one of our flavoured versions — Turmeric, Strawberry or Blueberry.

  • Hard, long-lasting milk chew — slowly worked down rather than wolfed in one go.
  • Four options — Natural, Turmeric, Strawberry and Blueberry.
  • Made from yak & cow milk — a milk-based chew (not suitable for dogs with a dairy allergy).
  • Grain-free and free from artificial colours and preservatives.
  • Naturally high in protein.
  • Sizes to suit — Small, Medium and Large depending on flavour.
  • Suitable from 16 weeks.

Composition

Yak milk, cow milk, salt, lime juice, with natural flavour on the flavoured versions. Analytical constituents and exact weights to be confirmed against the supplier specification before publishing.

Feeding & safety

Feed as a treat alongside a complete and balanced diet. These are hard chews: choose a size suited to your dog, supervise throughout, and take the chew away once it is small enough to swallow whole — or puff the last piece in the microwave (see below). As with any hard chew there is a small risk of tooth damage, so choose a softer chew for aggressive gnawers or dogs with dental problems, and always keep fresh water available.

Common questions

What are yak chews made of?
They're a traditional Himalayan chew made from yak and cow milk, pressed and slow-dried into a hard bar. Our range comes in Natural plus Turmeric, Strawberry and Blueberry flavours.
How do I pick the right size?
Match the chew to your dog's size and chewing style: Small for little dogs and lighter chewers, Medium for mid-size dogs, Large for bigger dogs and stronger chewers.
Are they suitable for dogs that can't have dairy?
No. Yak chews are a milk-based product, so they aren't suitable for dogs with a milk or dairy allergy.
What can I do with the last little piece?
Don't let your dog swallow the final hard nub whole. A popular trick is to microwave it for a minute or so until it puffs up into a crunchy, airy treat that's easy to finish safely. Always let it cool first.
