Miro & Makauri Rubber Grip Reflective Slip Lead

A simple, comfortable slip lead in bright, reflective rope with a soft rubber grip on the handle. It slips straight over your dog's head — no clips, and no need to take their collar off — and a sliding stopper lets you set how far the loop can close, so it won't keep tightening down. Reflective threading woven through the rope helps you stay visible on darker walks, and it comes in two rope thicknesses and a choice of bright colours.

Using it as a training aid

The lead can also be looped around the muzzle as well as the neck — a gentle, head-collar-style way to discourage pulling, easing the nose round rather than letting your dog power ahead. Introduce it slowly and positively and use light, gentle contact — it's a training aid, not a muzzle, and shouldn't be left on that way unattended.

Fit & safety

Set the stopper so the loop sits comfortably high on the neck, just behind the ears — snug enough not to slip off, but never tight. Because a slip lead tightens under pressure, it's best for dogs that walk reasonably well rather than constant, heavy pullers (for those, a harness keeps pressure off the neck). Keep walks supervised, never use a slip lead to tie up or leave a dog unattended, and check the rope, stitching and stopper for wear — replace the lead if anything is frayed, as no lead is unbreakable. Keep your dog close near roads.
