Turn mealtimes and treat time into a proper activity. The ÖRVA Slow Feed Enrichment Mat is a large 40×30cm textured mat that makes your dog work for their food — spread food or paste across the ridges and grooves and they have to lick and nose it out, which slows fast eaters down and keeps them happily occupied. Suction cups on the base hold it firmly in place on smooth floors, tiles or the side of the bath.

  • Slows fast eaters — the textured surface stops your dog gulping their food down in seconds.
  • Big 40×30cm size — plenty of surface for a full meal or a generous layer of paste.
  • Strong suction base — stays put on floors, tiles or the bath, so it doesn't slide around or flip.
  • Works with anything spreadable — kibble, raw food, wet food, treat paste or dog-safe peanut butter.
  • Freezer-safe — fill, freeze and serve for longer-lasting enrichment on warm days.
  • Easy to clean — made from flexible, food-safe silicone; just rinse or wipe down.

Great for

  • Slowing down mealtimes for dogs that bolt their food.
  • Enrichment and boredom-busting — a tasty job that keeps busy dogs occupied.
  • A distraction during bath time, grooming or nail trims.

Safety

Always supervise your dog while they use it. It's durable but not chew-proof — it's a feeding and licking mat, not a chew toy, so take it away after use and replace it if it becomes damaged. Supplied in recyclable packaging.

Looking for a smaller, shaped option? Try the ÖRVA Lobster Lick Mat or the ÖRVA Shark Lick Mat (both 23cm).

Common questions

What can I put on it?
Anything spreadable — kibble pressed into wet food, raw, treat paste, plain yoghurt or dog-safe peanut butter (always check it's xylitol-free). Spread it thin to make it last longer.
How does it slow eating down?
The ridges and grooves mean your dog has to lick and work the food out of the texture rather than gulping it straight from a bowl, so a meal takes much longer.
Can I freeze it?
Yes — spread it, freeze it and serve. Frozen fillings last far longer and are great on a hot day.
How do I clean it?
Rinse or wipe it down after use. The flexible surface makes it easy to get into the grooves.
