The twisted version of our popular ostrich tendon — a single-ingredient natural chew made from 100% ostrich tendon, twisted into a longer-lasting shape. Naturally high in protein and very low in fat, it gives dogs a satisfying, occupying chew after a walk or during quiet time.

  • 100% ostrich tendon — a single, natural ingredient with no additives or preservatives.
  • Naturally high in protein (98%) and very low in fat (0.5%).
  • Twisted shape — for a longer-lasting, more satisfying chew.
  • Single-ingredient & naturally low-allergen — a simple option for dogs that don't get on with more complex recipes.
  • Suitable from 8 weeks.

Composition

100% ostrich. Analytical constituents: protein 98%, fat content 0.5%, crude ash 0.6%.

Feeding & safety

Feed as a treat alongside a balanced diet, not as a meal. Always supervise your dog while chewing, keep fresh water available, and take the chew away once it has worn down to a piece small enough to swallow whole. Best for dogs that chew rather than gulp their chews. Suitable from 8 weeks. Chewing a natural chew like this can help reduce plaque through gentle mechanical action, but it isn't a substitute for brushing or veterinary dental care.

Prefer a straight tendon? Try the Anco Ostrich Tendon. From the Anco natural range, stocked at Hairy Dogs.

Does it help with teeth?

Suitable from 8 weeks, fed as a supervised treat. Always remove the small final piece.
