For dogs who love to chew but prefer something gentler, the Split Red Deer Antler is our softest antler chew. Made from 100% natural, UK-sourced, naturally shed red deer antlers, each one is hand-cut, cleaned without chemicals, then split lengthways to expose the softer honeycomb inner core — making it easier and more appealing to chew.
Because the core is exposed, split antlers are a softer chew, ideal for puppies (12+ weeks), senior dogs and gentle chewers. The natural chewing action helps keep teeth clean.
- Soft chew — our gentlest antler, great for puppies, seniors and light chewers.
- Split design — exposes the softer inner core for easier chewing.
- Supports clean teeth — natural chewing helps reduce plaque.
- Single-ingredient & natural — low fat and naturally low-allergen.
- Odour-free & non-staining — clean for indoor chewing.
- Sustainably sourced from naturally shed UK antlers — no animals harmed.
Split antlers are easier to chew but won't last as long as a whole antler. If your dog gets through one quickly, our whole Red Deer Antler lasts longer.

Size guide
| Size | Approx. weight | Good for (guide) |
|---|---|---|
| Small Pizza Cut | up to ~50g | Very small breeds, puppies, light chewers |
| Medium Pizza Cut | 51–70g | Small breeds – Jack Russell, Dachshund, Pomeranian |
| Large Pizza Cut | 71–100g | Medium breeds – Cockapoo, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel |
| Extra Large | 101–140g | Large breeds – Bulldog, Collie, Labrador |
| Extra XL | 141–200g | Larger breeds – German Shepherd, Retriever, Rottweiler |
| Super XL | 201–300g | Giant breeds – Great Dane, St. Bernard, Mastiff, Irish Wolfhound |
Breed is a rough guide — chewing style matters more. If unsure, size up: a larger antler lasts longer and is too big to swallow. Sizes are by weight and length, not thickness.
Safety & welfare
Although this is our softest antler, it's still a natural chew — always supervise your dog, and remove it if it becomes damaged, worn, or small enough to swallow. As the core wears down, check for any sharp edges. Ensure fresh drinking water is always available. If your dog has dental problems, check with your vet first.
Choosing the right antler: this split red deer antler is our softest — ideal for puppies and seniors. For a firmer chew try our Fallow Deer (soft/medium), the whole Red Deer (all-rounder), or the Elk (hardest, for power chewers).
